But they don’t do it all themselves.
The BEAM Team guidance mixes with top talent (arts, healing, storytelling, regeneration, music, and coastal/environmental expertise) from the area and beyond, to create a uniquely artistic, healing and highly innovative experience.

TAKE A CREATIVE INNOVATION JOURNEY
Creative Innovation (emphasis on Creative) is more than the usual five step approach to design thinking and innovation.
We first provide a map of what it means to take a Creative Innovation Journey. Exploring each of the discovery and development points along the way and learning what it means to each participant.
Then we custom design a combination learning journey (to gain insights) and creative innovation journey (to produce something of value). Some of this is accomplished at Blue Haven but some of it can be conducted out in wilds of the market where you learn from others who have experienced what you seek.
Journeys awaken new ways of thinking and doing. Our innovation journeys are adventures that connect you to other industry players, expanding your network of advantage and bringing you unexpected new insights.

The future begins with us. It is not enough to design the future; we must become the future ourselves.
Michelangelo said, "The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it."
We are made on a grander scale than we acknowledge. Too often in life, we aim too low.
As a result, we under-appreciate and underdevelop ourselves and the people around us.
There is a new future arising that calls upon us to find what it means to be fully human, to understand our role in this complex, rapidly changing tech/cultural world and to be the people who will shape the future.
Our “Become the Future” sessions are designed to develop the insights, skills, and mind shifts that allow for becoming more of who we feel inside is truly our authentic self. Only then can we show others the future from our living it.

For many years, leaders from BEAM Consulting & Design, utilizing the unique venue of the Blue Haven location, have created deeply valuable and life enriching leadership retreats for top CEOs, and their leadership teams.
These custom designed sessions enable leaders to break away from the stressful demands of running their business, reconnect to nature and themselves, and open their thinking to new perspectives. Facilitated by BEAM and their breakthrough proprietary models, leaders shape the future next stages of enterprise thriving.
In the process, they learn new ways of leading. In a world that is no longer predictable, the old ways of leading and managing don’t hold up. They learn new ways of leading better suited for the handling complexity and rapid changes inherent in an uncharted future.
And at Blue Haven, we can also provide ways to take care of the leaders themselves—Some leaders avail themselves of the internationally recognized transformational bodyworkers and experience journeys in the Blue Haven area. This often provides them with healing psyche-physical breakthroughs and renewal that later expand their enjoyment and effectiveness in leading.

In the safe, loving, creative Blue Haven setting, we have helped many people make sense of their breakthroughs, harvest the insights and integrate them in a way they can confidently enter their next stage of evolvement.
We apply what the Greeks call Phronesis—Practical Wisdom gained by many years of experience, study and application.
Since human time began, people have looked to Elders to give them perspective and guidance as they go through their transitions and transformations. The Blue Haven Elders serve that purpose for many.
Blue Haven “Elders” work with a younger team to shape the wisdom insights into an integrated plan that best fits person’s stage in life and the new realities of emerging new world of work and living.
Breakthroughs are important but their benefit diminishes if not integrated into a new sense of self, a new identity, and a new way of being, doing, and becoming.

Here are just a few of the new pathways, both very personal and professional, that have been discovered at Blue Haven:
• A member of parliament for a European country, came to Blue Haven feeling that he and his country had lost its way. Through walks on the beach, late night discussions and transformative experiences, he discovered his new path and returned home to start a successful new political party and innovative business to bring inspiration to others.
• A CEO of an award-winning international production studio, came here with her team leaders with an open question… “What next?” She and her team returned to build a totally new innovative enterprise that brought out more of the deeply felt heart work for which they yearned.
• An important author weighted down by the difficulties of writing about the Middle East conflicts, came here to conduct a Storytelling Workshop and discovered she really came here to find nourishment and renewal. She was so taken by her own changes that within a couple of weeks she sent her daughter to Blue Haven, who participated in our local transformation network, to open a new view of shaping her personal/professional future.
